Hi! I’m Mary Alexander Satterfield — also known as The Hungry Hooker!

For those of you who may be new here, let me fill you in on the backstory behind the name. My maiden name was “Hooker” and I grew up in a big family that loved food and placed all things culinary at the center of our gatherings and experiences. Both of my parents have a heritage steeped in food; my mom comes from a beloved Greek family and my dad has deep Southern roots, mainly from generations of family from Mississippi.
