Feta & Dill Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 green onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese
  • 3 tsp rolfe rub
  • 1 egg
  • tzatziki sauce (optional)
  • avocado
  • roma tomato
  • bibb lettuce
  • lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. in a large bowl or plastic bag, combine the ground turkey, spinach, feta cheese, dill, egg, rolfe rub, and green onion. 
  2. once it is all combined, form into burger patties.
  3. you can prepare the patties on the grill or in a cast-iron skillet. I prepared mine on a cast-iron skillet. 
  4. first, get the skillet hot and add about 1 tbsp of olive oil or avocado oil and sear the meat on each side for 3-4 minutes. cook until charred and no longer pink.
  5. serve the burgers with tzatziki sauce on a bun or in a lettuce wrap. add avocado, tomato, and any other toppings you may like! I topped mine with fresh lemon juice.
  6. serve warm and enjoy!
