Parmesan Chicken Crispers

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 12 oz Whisps parmesan cheese crisps
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbs Cavender's greek seasoning
  • 2 tbs almond flour
  • 1 tbs garlic powder
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • red pepper flakes (optional for a little kick)
  • mozzarella
  • Rao's homemade marinara sauce
  • fresh basil

Instructions

  1. crush the Whisps into small fine pieces. I did this by leaving them inside the package and beat them with a meat mallet.
  2. in a small bowl, combine the crushed Whisps, Cavender's, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. in a separate bowl, crack two eggs and whisk until frothy
  4. take each chicken breast and dip in the eggs. once coated in the egg, place the chicken in the seasoning mixture and place inside the air fryer
  5. cook in the air fryer on 375 for 25-30 minutes
  6. once they are finished cooking in the air fryer,
  7. place on a baking sheet or skillet.
  8. top them with Rao's marinara and mozzarella
  9. place in a preheated oven on 400 for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  10. remove from the oven and top with fresh basil
  11. serve over Banza spaghetti and a side salad
  12. pour a glass of red and enjoy!
