Spicy Vodka Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 box of banza rigatoni pasta
- 1 small shallot
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup nut pods original creamer
- 1 tbs vodka
- red pepper flakes
- salt
- pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- parmesan cheese
- fresh basil
Instructions
- cook banza according to package
- in a large pan, heat the olive oil and saute the shallot and garlic, cook until soft
- add the tomato paste and saute for about 1 minute
- add the nut pods and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, all to taste
- add the vodka and stir until evaporated
- pour the cooked pasta into the sauce and the chicken broth, stir to combine
- top with fresh parmesan and fresh basil
