Creamy Lemon Pasta

- Bring salted water to a boil and cook your pasta until al dente. Save 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While the pasta cooks, in a seperate large pan over medium heat, add butter and olive oil. once the butter has melted, add minced garlic and season with salt and pepper. saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stir to combine, and bring to a light simmer.
- Grate in parmesan and stir it into the sauce. Taste and season with more salt and pepper to your liking.
- Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice. Let it simmer on low for about one minute.
- Pour in the reserve pasta water and stir it into the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
- Serve warm with grated parmesan, fresh cracked black pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
