Marry Me Meatballs & Spaghetti

- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, parsley, shallot, garlic, parmesan, bread crumbs, egg, almond flour, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. mix well using your hands and roll into petite balls.
- In a large pan with depth over medium-high heat, add a generous amount of olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs to sear on each side for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the meatballs have a crust and are cooked, set them aside and drain the excess grease.
- In the same pan, add the tomato basil sauce and add the meatballs back in the pan. Stir to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer.
- Before you add the cooked pasta, save 1/4 cup of the pasta water. Add the cooked pasta directly to the sauce and meatball mixture along with some of the reserved pasta water.
- Fold the pasta into the sauce and meatballs. Taste and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Serve immediately with parmesan and fresh basil.
