Salsa Verde White Chicken Chili

Ingredients
- 1.5-2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup salsa verde
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 2 tsp salt
- 7 oz. canned chopped green chiles
- 1 white onion, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 15 oz. canned white beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 lime
- jalapeno, for garnish (optional)
- cilantro, for garnish (optional)
- avocado, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- place the following ingredients inside the crockpot. add chicken breast, salsa verde, cumin, diced onion, diced pepper, salt, green chiles, white beans, juice from 1/2 lime,
- and chicken broth.
- turn the crockpot to low and cook for 5 hours.
- once everything is finished cooking, remove the chicken and shred into small pieces.
- place the shredded chicken back to the crockpot. stir to combine.
- serve warm with cilantro, jalapeño, and avocado.
