Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
- 8 oz sugar free bacon, I use Applegate.
- 12 oz bag Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp coconut aminos
- 3 tbsp Mike's hot honey
- red pepper flakes, to taste
- salt, to taste
Instructions
- prep your ingredients by dicing the bacon and cutting the Brussels in half.
- in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until brown and crispy. once cooked, set aside on a paper towel and drain excess grease from the skillet.
- in the same skillet, add the Brussels sprouts. pour the olive oil into the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- season the Brussels with salt, red pepper flakes, and add the coconut aminos. stir to combine and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- for crispy and charred Brussels, place them in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. tossing occasionally. (if you don't have an air fryer, cook them in the skillet until charred)
- return the Brussels to the skillet over low heat and add the bacon. drizzle hot honey on top and stir to combine.
- serve with fresh red pepper flakes and enjoy!
