Asian Fusion Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
- 12 oz bag of Brussels sprouts
- 1/4 coconut aminos
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tbsp honey (I used Mike's Hot Honey)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- red pepper flakes, to taste
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 3 tbs sesame oil
Instructions
- in a skillet over high heat, pour 2 tbsp of sesame oil into the pan and let the skillet get hot.
- once it is hot but not smoking, pour in the Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper.
- stir to combine and let them begin to char.
- pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts and add red pepper flakes to your liking. stir to combine.
- cook Brussels until they are charred and softened,
- serve warm and enjoy!
Sauce
- while the Brussels cook make the sauce: in a small bowl combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sambal oelek, honey, onion powder, and garlic.
- whisk to combine.
