Bang Bang Shrimp Lettuce Wraps & Ginger Slaw

Ingredients
Shrimp
- 3 tbsp primal kitchen mayo
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 3 tsp harissa paste (I purchased at Trader Joes)
- 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
- romaine lettuce boats
- red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
Slaw
- 8 oz broccoli slaw
- 3 tbsp primal kitchen mayo
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 tbsp Mike's hot honey
Instructions
Sauce
- in a small bowl, combine 3 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp sriracha, and 3 tsp harissa paste.
Shrimp
- prepare the shrimp by drizzling 1 tbsp olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- in a skillet over medium heat, cook the shrimp for 5-6 minutes or until no longer grey.
- once the shrimp is cooked, place it in a bowl and pour the bang bang sauce over the top and mix to combine. season with red pepper flakes (optional).
- pour the slaw "sauce" over the broccoli slaw and stir to combine.
- assemble your lettuce wrap. add shrimp, top with slaw, and garnish with fresh jalapeños.
Slaw
- in a small bowl combine, 3 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp ginger, 3 garlic cloves, 1/2 lime, and 1 tbsp hot honey.
- stir to combine.
