Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. chicken wings
  • green onion
  • sesame seeds
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tbs fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp Mike's hot honey
  • 2 tsp sambal oelek, use 2 for more spice
  • 1 tbs water
  • 1 tbs tapioca starch

Instructions

  1. place chicken wings in a large bowl, drizzle with sesame oil, salt, and pepper. toss to combine.
  2. place chicken wings in air fryer. cook on 370 degrees for 25-30 minutes. toss halfway.
  3. make your sauce, in a small bowl, combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, Mike's hot honey, sambal oelek, water, and tapioca starch. whisk to combine.
  4. in a small pot on medium heat, pour the sauce inside and bring to a simmer. once simmering, turn heat to low and whisk.
  5. once the chicken wings are finished cooking, pour the sauce on immediately. toss to combine.
  6. serve with green onion, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds on top.
