Sticky Asian Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 5 lbs. chicken wings
- green onion
- sesame seeds
- pepper
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tbs fresh ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- red pepper flakes, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tbsp Mike's hot honey
- 2 tsp sambal oelek, use 2 for more spice
- 1 tbs water
- 1 tbs tapioca starch
Instructions
- place chicken wings in a large bowl, drizzle with sesame oil, salt, and pepper. toss to combine.
- place chicken wings in air fryer. cook on 370 degrees for 25-30 minutes. toss halfway.
- make your sauce, in a small bowl, combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, Mike's hot honey, sambal oelek, water, and tapioca starch. whisk to combine.
- in a small pot on medium heat, pour the sauce inside and bring to a simmer. once simmering, turn heat to low and whisk.
- once the chicken wings are finished cooking, pour the sauce on immediately. toss to combine.
- serve with green onion, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds on top.
