Skillet Rosemary Lemon Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, shell on
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp rolfe rub
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lemons
  • fresh rosemary & thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. in a skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil, ghee, garlic, and shallot. saute for 1-2 minutes careful not to burn.
  2. add the shrimp, seasonings, and fresh herbs. slowly pour in the chicken broth and add the juice of one lemon. 
  3. stir to combine and cook on each side of the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes or until pink and cooked through.
  4. serve family style in the skillet. dip some french bread in it and thank me later!
